Senior Account Executive - Physical Security

The Opportunity
We're looking for a seasoned enterprise seller ready to own a commercial vertical and grow within it. This is not a territory hand-off or a warm-lead role - this is a ground-up business development position with a named account base to provide footing, and a wide-open runway to build meaningful, lasting client relationships in the commercial enterprise space.
You'll work alongside a collaborative team of project managers, engineers, and service professionals to deliver outcomes that keep enterprise clients secure, compliant, and confident. The sale is technical, the stakeholders are varied - C-suite, IT, Facilities, Security Operations - and the deals are complex. We want someone who thrives in that environment.
What You'll Own
- Drive net-new revenue growth within an assigned commercial enterprise vertical
- Manage and expand a portfolio of named accounts from day one
- Run a disciplined, structured sales process from prospecting through close - including discovery, site walks, solution design collaboration, proposal, and negotiation
- Engage credibly across multiple buyer personas: IT Directors, Security Managers, Facilities leaders, CFOs, and procurement teams
- Partner with internal engineering and operations teams to scope and deliver winning solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting in CRM
- Represent PTD at industry events, trade shows, and vertical-specific networking opportunities
- Participate actively in team selling motions - no lone wolves here
- 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience with a verifiable track record of quota attainment
- Formal sales methodology training and demonstrated application - Sandler, Challenger, or Miller Heiman / Strategic Selling strongly preferred
- Proven experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with $100K+ deal sizes
- Ability to sell both technically and commercially - you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to earn the room
- Documented recognition: Presidents Club, top performer rankings, or equivalent performance accolades
- Experience in physical security, IT infrastructure, AV/low-voltage, or adjacent technical services
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes, RFP/RFQ environments, and master service agreements
- Experience selling into enterprise commercial accounts across verticals such as corporate real estate, financial services, hospitality, retail, or healthcare
- CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management habits
