Sales Engineer — Structurely (Contract, Fully Remote)

The Job


You're the technical closer. You join sales calls and turn skepticism into signed deals by showing prospects exactly how Structurely fits their stack. Post-sale, you own the integration — CRM configuration, data mapping, workflow design, testing, launch, and the first few weeks of "is this thing working?" until the client forgets what life was like before us.

What you'll actually do day-to-day:


  • Join prospect and client calls to demo the platform, answer technical questions, and architect integration plans.
  • Build the integration playbook and design system that will allow Structurely to integrate deeply into workflows and tech stacks. You own the SOPs and you own this role.
  • Design and execute CRM integrations — primarily Salesforce, real estate and mortgage CRMs, HubSpot, Zoho, and custom REST API environments
  • Configure lead routing, field mapping, webhook triggers, and automation workflows inside client CRMs
  • Build and deliver technical proposals, integration scopes, and implementation timelines
  • Troubleshoot live integrations — when something breaks at 2pm on a Tuesday, you're the one who figures out why the leads stopped flowing
  • Partner with our engineering team to flag product gaps, request features, and build reusable integration playbooks
  • Train client teams on platform setup, CRM configuration, and best practices
  • Maintain technical documentation for integrations and common client configurations


You should have:


  • 1+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or technical implementation role — client-facing, not backroom
  • Real Salesforce experience — you know your way around objects, flows, process builders, and the API. If someone says "we need a custom field mapped to a webhook payload," you don't blink
  • Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and data transformation concepts
  • CRM breadth beyond Salesforce — HubSpot, Zoho, or other platforms you've integrated against
  • The ability to run a technical demo without a script and handle curveball questions from a skeptical VP of Sales
  • Clear, confident communication — you can explain a REST API to a loan officer and make it make sense
  • Self-management skills that actually work in a remote, async environment


Bonus points:


  • Familiarity with telephony or messaging infrastructure (SIP, A2P 10DLC, SMS/MMS APIs, RCS)
  • Experience in mortgage, real estate, insurance, or lead generation
  • You've worked at a startup where "that's not my job" doesn't exist
  • Zapier/Make/Tray.io or similar integration middleware experience


The Details


Contract or W2. In person or fully remote. US business hour overlap required (we're Florida/Michigan-based). Competitive contract rate based on experience.
