We are looking for an Automotive Embedded Basic Software (BSW) Engineer to drive forward the Automotive sector with Electrical and Embedded Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to the projects that you work on whilst helping Expleo to grow the automotive sector within Electrical and Embedded Systems domain.
Responsibilities
- Define, design and implement am embedded AUTOSAR Classic platform.
- Develop and configure AUTOSAR Classic basic software.
- Develop complex device drivers.
- Integrate third-party basic software components such as the MCAL.
- Implement and configure AUTOSAR BSW communication stack, including CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, etc.
- Engineering Degree in applicable discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
- Strong programming skills with demonstrable proficiency in programming languages, especially embedded C.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills: Ability to identify and fix software bugs.
- AUTOSAR Classic BSW health and fault management
- AUTOSAR Classic BSW time sync
- AUTOSAR Classic BSW cybersecurity
- Experienced in developing and integrating AUTOSAR Basic Software with thorough understanding of the AUTOSAR Classic architecture and software stacks.
- Experience of working on Safety Critical Software projects with familiarity of safety standards (ISO 26262) and coding guidelines (MIRSA C).
- Experience of software development and test within an automotive project environment.
