This is a great opportunity for a Software Developer to join a well-established and growing retail business, developing high-quality products within a specialist market. Working closely with the Lead Developer, you’ll play a key role in both the development of new in-house web applications and the ongoing improvement of existing systems. The environment is hands-on and collaborative, with a real focus on building solutions that are used day-to-day across the business. You’ll be involved across the full development lifecycle, from understanding requirements through to development, testing and deployment.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a smaller team where you can have real input, take ownership of your work and see the direct impact of what you build.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining web-based applications using C# and ASP.NET
• Working across both backend and frontend elements of the stack
• Supporting and enhancing existing systems used across the business
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements
• Contributing to new feature development and ongoing system improvements

What we’re looking for:

• Strong experience with C# and ASP.NET
• Commercial experience working with web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Understanding of the full development lifecycle
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

💰 Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience
