The Role:
Account Executive
Location: NYC Hybrid at our Flatiron office (3 in-office days)
Salary Range: $50–60K based on experience
Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in beauty PR, either agency or in-house, is required for this role
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clear pitches and confidently speak with media and clients
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain media relationships, with some existing beauty media contacts and a proactive approach to strengthening relationships with press, influencers and KOLs
- Familiarity with tools like MuckRack, Cision, or similar media databases
- Comfortable managing timelines and details across multiple projects
- Experience supporting events, influencer mailers, and product launches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to pitch and present ideas clearly to clients and media.
- A Bachelor’s degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in keeping client projects organized and on track by managing timelines, recaps, and status updates
- Support day-to-day client work by drafting pitches, tracking coverage, and assisting with ongoing client tasks and deliverables
- Help maintain client trackers, coverage reports, and event recaps
- Pitch media contacts and follow up to secure meaningful placements
- Actively build relationships with press through weekly in-person meetings
- Coordinate logistics for press mailers, influencer seeding, and launch events
- Draft press materials, talking points, and briefing documents
- Attend and contribute to client meetings, capturing notes and action items
- Keep up with beauty news, media moves, and cultural trends to inform client strategy
- Work closely with senior team members and take ownership of assigned tasks
