Job Title: Experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Broker – Account Manager

Location: Stouffville, Ontario – Hybrid, in office days required.

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent – Monday to Friday

Pay range: $55,000 - $75,000 based on experience.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Insurance Broker – Customer Service Representative with proven experience handling small to mid-size commercial accounts. The ideal candidate will be RIBO licensed, possess (or be working towards) a CAIB or CIP designation and have some farm exposure. You’ll work closely with producers, underwriters, and clients to manage new business, renewals, endorsements, claims assistance, and day-to-day servicing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines accounts
• Prepare applications, quotes, proposals, and binders for new and renewal business
• Communicate with underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage
• Process policy changes, certificates of insurance, and endorsements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in the broker management system – Applied Epic
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries
• Collaborate with producers and other team members to support business development and client retention
• Stay informed on market trends, insurer guidelines, and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• RIBO licence (Required)
• CAIB or CIP designation (Completed or actively pursuing)
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a commercial lines insurance broker/customer service role
• Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, including property, liability, auto, and specialty lines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Farm account management is a high value asset
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and broker management systems, knowledge of Applied Epic is an asset
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
