AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Account Executive in the Virginia/Washington DC area.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build relationships with potential customers
  • Aggressively grow an assigned territory
  • Gain strong knowledge of local competition
  • Continuously research new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations to develop strategic plans to acquire accounts
  • Build a database of business leads
  • Contribute to the company’s mission, vision and core values

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in a business to business environment
  • A background in contract foodservice, food / beverage vending, office coffee service, or other closely related field is preferred, but not required
  • A highly self-motivated work style, with the ability to work independently
  • A serious, outgoing and aggressive personality with a competitive spirit
  • Familiarity with the market, and currently residing in or willingness to relocate to the market area
  • A bachelor’s degree is desirable, but not a requirement
