JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Manager will be expected to drive sales performance and achieve profit targets by continually identifying new opportunities and developing business with existing customers. This role will support a range of industries, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. The Account Manager will provide support from beginning of the process through the end.


Responsibilities: • Drive new business within life sciences and advanced manufacturing through targeted prospecting and data-driven sales. • Develop opportunities with pharma, biotech, and medical device clients, selling full project and service solutions. • Generate and qualify projects for cleanrooms, GMP-regulated facilities, and high-spec manufacturing environments. • Identify decision-makers and execute cross-sell and upsell strategies. • Lead site visits and client presentations, ensuring regulatory and operational alignment. • Translate engineering requirements, conduct site surveys, and support compliance-driven inquiries. • Maintain strong technical, industry, and regulatory knowledge (GMP, FDA). • Manage pipeline reporting, CRM accuracy, and smooth handoff to Operations.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required Experience: • Sales or contract management experience in production equipment, installation environments or life sciences (Pharmaceutical) • Proven ability to win new business in a service-based model. • Strong commercial awareness and business judgment. • Experience negotiating with clients and vendors. • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong client relationships. • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and internal systems.


NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with machinery relocation or installation, ideally in cleanroom or GMP-regulated settings. • Working knowledge of mechanical and installation engineering projects; regulated environments a plus.
