Aaxel Insurance Brokers is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding client support.
About the Role
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing commercial insurance accounts, supporting brokers, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
This is a full-time position based in Ontario and requires on-site work.
Office location: 2000 Argentia Road, Plaza 5, Suite 500, Mississauga, ON, L5N 2R7 (Head Office)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts.
- Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes.
- Communicate with clients regarding policy updates and coverage needs.
- Support brokers with account management and administrative functions.
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters.
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records.
- Ensure compliance with brokerage procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional client service and timely follow-up.
What You Will Bring to Aaxel
- Valid RIBO license in good standing.
- Previous commercial lines account management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of commercial insurance experience required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts.
- Client-focused and detail-oriented mindset.
- Experience with brokerage management systems and Microsoft Office.
- CIP, FCIP, CAIB, or Insurance Diploma designation or progress toward designation is considered an asset.
