About The Role
We are seeking a passionate UX Developer to join a dynamic Experience Design and Research team. In this role, you will blend design sensibilities with robust front-end development skills to shape enterprise experiences. You will work daily to craft user-centered design solutions, build coded prototypes, and leverage AI/LLM tools to accelerate development and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create user-centered design solutions focused on ease of use, utilizing best-in-class visual and interaction design.
- Build coded prototypes using modern front-end frameworks (React/TypeScript) to validate concepts.
- Leverage AI/LLM tools for ideation, prototyping, code refactoring, and documentation, ensuring human review.
- Partner with designers to translate patterns into reusable components and design tokens.
- Produce and maintain Markdown-based documentation, instructional guides, and component usage guidance.
- Collaborate with Product and Technology teams to ensure functionality meets user needs.
- Work with business and technical leads to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with Experience Design team members, including designers and researchers.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project coordination or management.
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Engineer, Front-end Developer, or Design Technologist.
- Proven ability to build coded prototypes (portfolio required).
- Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS (SCSS) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Production experience with React (or similar framework like Angular/Vue.js) and modern component patterns.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Basic understanding of design principles (visual design, white space, information architecture, grid systems).
- Experience working from design specifications and collaborating with product owners and engineers.
- Demonstrated experience tokenizing design systems.
- Experience creating Markdown documentation for UI patterns and components.
- Experience using LLM tools in design/development workflows.
- Solid accessibility foundations (WCAG/ARIA) and performance-minded UI development.
- Strong communication skills; ability to present work to senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
- Experience with token pipelines/tools (theming systems).
- Experience with component documentation and review tools.
- Familiarity with UI stability testing.
- Experience in enterprise, finance, or data-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with enterprise build and release cycles.
- Ability to work independently with high-level customer service skills.
- Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
