Account Manager

Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and policy changes.
Collaborate with underwriters to tailor insurance solutions to meet client requirements.
Policy Management
Oversee the entire policy lifecycle, from initial client engagement, to policy issuance and renewals. This involves providing new and renewal quotes to clients, reviewing policy terms, conditions, and coverage options, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Proactively address policy-related issues and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
Risk Assessment And Analysis
Conduct in-depth risk assessments to identify potential exposures and coverage gaps.
Analyze market trends, insurance products, and competitive offerings to make informed recommendations.
Compliance And Documentation
Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, policy documentation, and communication logs.
Position Specific Skills/Qualifications
Work Experience
- Prior experience in Wholesale Insurance or a related field is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and insurance portfolios.
- A valid insurance license, as required by state regulations. If none, one can be obtained post-hire
- Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in insurance software and CRM systems.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Receptive to constructive criticism and openness to learning new processes
- High level of initiative who can confidently manage their time and workload
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
