About The Role
Zeno Group Canada is seeking a Senior Account Executive (SAE) to join our Brand team. In this role, you will support day-to-day client contact, deliver strong programs and results, and build productive relationships with media, influencers, clients, and internal teams. The SAE is a fearless, media-savvy, resourceful and tenacious contributor.
This is a hybrid role working from our Toronto office or remote from Montreal.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, execution and reporting of strategic and creative earned programs.
- Research, write and edit materials - including thoughtful media pitches and creative influencer briefs.
- Project manage tactical programs, including developing and owning workback schedules, regularly keeping teams abreast of ongoing activity, deadlines and results.
- Regularly pitch media for campaigns and new product/service launches, demonstrating a desire to build strong relationships with journalists.
- Support creator programs from start to finish, including the research, selection, contract negotiation, brief, review and report.
- Use PR tools to create and maintain media and influencer lists and track and report on program goals (e.g. Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, Sprout).
- Actively participate in brainstorms and assist with new business proposals, including research, ideation and attending new business meetings as necessary.
- Communicate with your account team to keep them abreast of timelines and deadlines.
- Support, plan, and execute events for clients.
- Coach AAEs and interns, demonstrating the ability to supervise and delegate tasks as necessary.
- Bilingual, professionally proficient in English and French.
- Two to three years of consumer PR experience; agency experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Existing relationships with media and influencers and the desire to build new relationships with these groups, in addition to client and vendor contacts.
- Effective communicator and project manager who can juggle multiple programs.
- Show an understanding of the “big picture” of client programs, including general. business strategy, industry issues, products and services, and competitors in the market.
- Detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to “think on your feet”.
