Role Purpose
Act as a Senior Onsite Engagement Leader at client premises, driving account growth, client intimacy, and strategic data & AI initiatives. This role blends relationship management, consultative selling, and solution shaping, with accountability for pipeline creation, revenue protection, and opportunity conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Leadership & Executive Engagement
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across client business domains, and data leadership functions
- Act as a strategic advisor, aligning client priorities with enterprise data, analytics, and AI roadmaps
- Provide early visibility into risks, escalations, and renewal threats, ensuring proactive mitigation
2. Engagement Ownership & Revenue Assurance
- Own end-to-end engagement health—delivery oversight, stakeholder satisfaction, and commercial success
- Drive revenue protection, renewals, and expansion opportunities within the account
- Collaborate with account leadership on account planning, growth strategy, and pipeline targets
3. Opportunity Sensing & Pipeline Creation
- Leverage onsite presence to identify and shape opportunities through continuous client interaction
- “Walk the floor” to uncover demands—translate business pain points into structured opportunities and deal pursuits
- Build and maintain qualified pipeline aligned to account growth objectives
- Work closely and drive with sales and presales teams on RFPs, proposals, and deal conversion
4. Consultative Solutioning & Thought Leadership
- Develop Point-of-View (PoV), solution blueprints, and multiple approach options (A/B/C) for client challenges
- Shape solutions across: Data modernization (Snowflake / Cloud platforms), Data governance & lineage, AI/ML enablement and data readiness & Data product operating models
- Bring domain-led insights into banking data challenges (risk, compliance, legacy constraints)
5. Ecosystem Orchestration
- Coordinate across delivery teams, architects, CoEs, and partner ecosystem (hyperscalers, ISVs)
- Ensure rapid mobilization of right capabilities to respond to client needs
- Act as the bridge between client, delivery, and sales, ensuring unified execution
Relevant Background & Experience
- 15+ years in Data, Analytics, AI with strong banking domain experience
- Prior experience working with European / Nordic banks
- Hands-on exposure to: Large-scale data modernization programs (Snowflake/Cloud), data governance, lineage, regulatory data frameworks, data products / domain data models / analytics transformation
- Demonstrated ability in: Consultative selling and opportunity shaping, managing senior client stakeholders & driving onsite engagements with commercial accountability
