We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager with a proven track record in selling ERP software to our NZ based Local Government customers.


In this role, you’ll partner closely with our key customers, focusing on growth, retention, and long-term relationship management. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers continue to see value in our solutions and services while identifying new opportunities for expansion.


This position is based in Auckland offering the chance to work with a dynamic, customer-focused team in one of our key markets.


What you’ll be doing…


  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing Local Government customer accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction, retention and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with the TechOne Direct and Sales Leadership teams to identify & pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets across both new and existing clients
  • Identify and analyse market potential within your customer base, leveraging strong relationships to drive and upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Partner closely with internal teams including Presales, Bid Management and other key stakeholders to deliver value-driven outcomes for customers.
  • Negotiate pricing and volume discounts in line with company policies, working collaboratively with Sales Leadership and operations to ensure customer retention and continued business growth


Your Talents…

  • Proven B2B sales experience preferably ERP sales experience activities, including lead generation management.
  • Experience in a software account management role, with a strong understanding of New Zealand local government customers, including their procurement processes, regulatory environment, and sector-specific challenges.
  • A successful track record across all sales activities, including lead generation, management of opportunities and bids, deal crating deal closing and client relationship management.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
