More About The Role
We are looking for an Senior Account Manager/Account Director to join our dynamic team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping impactful client work and driving integrated communication programmes that deliver real business results. In this role, you’ll lead client relationships, develop strategic communications plans, and oversee the execution of creative, insight-led campaigns across earned, digital, and social channels. You’ll also contribute to growing accounts, supporting new business opportunities, and mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where curiosity, ideas, and ambition are encouraged.
What You'll Do
- Act as the day-to-day strategic lead for your clients, providing clear counsel, proactive thinking, and strong communication to build trusted, long-term relationships.
- Develop and oversee integrated communication strategies, translating business objectives into thoughtful, effective campaigns that deliver impact.
- Stay immersed in your clients’ industries, tracking news, trends, and cultural shifts to bring relevant insights and opportunities to the table.
- Shape and drive compelling storytelling across media channels, overseeing press materials, media outreach, and coverage that builds visibility and reputation.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders to secure meaningful coverage and elevate client stories.
- Oversee the integration of digital and social strategies into broader campaigns, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with platform behaviour.
- Contribute actively to brainstorms and creative development, bringing insight-led ideas and helping turn concepts into strong campaign work.
- Support and mentor junior team members, providing coaching, feedback, and guidance while helping them grow in a high-performance environment.
- Proven experience in public relations, integrated communications, or account management at a similar level.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex client challenges into clear, actionable communication plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, audience-focused narratives.
- Strong media relations experience, including building journalist relationships and securing high-impact coverage.
- Good understanding of digital and social media platforms, trends, and content strategies.
- Experience managing multiple clients or projects in a fast-paced agency environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior team members while contributing to a supportive and collaborative culture.
- Commercial awareness, with experience contributing to account growth and identifying new business opportunities.
