About the role
As a Key Account Manager at Diplomat New Zealand Limited, you will be responsible for managing and growing key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and cultivating long-term, strategic partnerships. This full-time position is based in Takapuna, Auckland.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute account plans to meet and exceed sales targets for key accounts
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within your accounts
- Identify new opportunities to expand business and drive revenue growth
- Provide expert product and industry knowledge to support customer needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Monitor and report on account performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in account management or relationship-focused sales roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex situations
- Proficient in using CRM systems to manage customer data and pipeline
- Thorough understanding of the sales process and customer lifecycle
- Familiarity with the account and relationship management industry
