Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced and self-driven NZ Channel/SME Account Manager to join our Open Platform Business Group in Auckland, reporting to the Account Management Director – OP.
As the NZ Channel/SME Account Manager, you are responsible for channel and SME accounts located in New Zealand. This role will cover both existing managed accounts as well as looking for new areas for development for our product lines within the region.
Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners across New Zealand, with a focus on driving partner growth and success;
- Develop and implement partner programs designed to strengthen collaboration and support mutual growth with the ASUS brand;
- Gain a deep understanding of partners’ businesses, strategies, and challenges, and secure ongoing joint initiatives that deliver value;
- Ensure ASUS products are effectively represented and merchandised within retail environments;
- Proactively monitor and analyse the local market, including competitor activity, trends, and opportunities, and share insights with internal stakeholders;
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic objectives and achieve set targets.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications
- 2-5 Years' Experience in New Zealand Channel and/or SME at Vendor/Distribution level
- Previous Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Excel software
- Great presentation and sales skills
- Proven sales record within the Channel Commercial Segment for New Zealand
- New Zealand citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within New Zealand, no overseas applicants
