Key Account Manager – Optical / Eyewear | Mexico & LATAM

We are partnering with an international fintech company expanding its Eyewear division into Mexico and LATAM.


We’re looking for a commercial professional with experience in the optical/eyewear industry (optical chains, distributors, lens/frame brands) to lead the development of this market locally. This is a unique opportunity to build a market from scratch, working directly with some of the most relevant optical players in the region.


About the role

This role goes beyond traditional sales — you will be the first on-the-ground commercial representative in Mexico, responsible for:

  1. Managing and growing key optical accounts (including large chains and strategic partners)
  2. Opening new business opportunities with optical chains, buying groups and independent networks
  3. Driving execution at the point of sale, through in-store visits, training and commercial follow-up
  4. Building and managing a commercial pipeline with clear ownership and accountability
  5. Acting as the link between the local market and the global team


What we’re looking for


  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales / Key Account Management, ideally within the optical/eyewear industry
  • Proven experience working with optical chains, distributors or vision care companies
  • Strong balance between hunting (new business) and farming (account growth)
  • Comfortable working in the field (stores, clients), not only from a corporate environment
  • High level of autonomy and ownership — able to define priorities and execute independently
  • Strong commercial mindset, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Professional English (for coordination with international teams)
  • Based in Mexico and open to travel


Nice to have:

  • Existing network within the optical market (Mexico, US or LATAM)
  • Experience in startup or scale-up environments
  • Exposure to retail or point-of-sale driven business models
