Intern - Full-Stack Developer (Shopify)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Intern - Full-Stack Developer with a solid foundation in frontend technologies and a basic understanding of backend architecture. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining eCommerce web applications, with exposure to Shopify and modern full-stack technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, and MERN/MEAN architecture.

Experience Level: 0-6months

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Perform DOM manipulation and implement interactive UI components
• Integrate APIs using Fetch/Async/Await
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve performance across the application
• Work on Shopify storefront customization and feature enhancements
• Understand and contribute to complete eCommerce flows
• Assist in building full-stack features using React/Next.js and Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA

Required Skills

• HTML (Intermediate Level): Semantic structure, accessibility basics
• CSS (Intermediate Level): Responsive design, Flexbox, Grid,
• JavaScript (Basic Level):
• DOM manipulation
• API integration - Async/Await and Fetch
• Debugging and issue resolution
• Shopify :
• Understanding of Shopify theme structure
• Familiarity with Liquid templating basics
• eCommerce Understanding:
• Knowledge of end-to-end eCommerce application flow
• Basic understanding of web application architecture
• Git (Basic Level):
• Knowledge of version control workflows

Technical Requirements

• Exposure to React / Next.js (components, state management, routing basics)
• Basic understanding of Node.js (APIs, server-side logic)
• Familiarity with MERN/MEAN stack concepts
• Understanding of frontend-backend communication and API handling
• Familiarity with JSON data structures and REST APIs

• Strong problem-solving and debugging mindset
• Experience working on academic, or personal eCommerce projects
• Understanding of responsive and cross-browser development
• Eagerness to learn modern web technologies and development workflows
