About Position
We are seeking a talented Backend Developer with strong experience in Java/J2EE, PostgreSQL, and SOAP-based integrations to build and enhance scalable backend systems. This role requires someone who can work in a fast-paced startup environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and deliver high?quality, secure, and optimized backend services. Candidates with telecom exposure, especially EMS FCAPS for RAN products, will have an added advantage.

- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java/J2EE and SOAP
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexing, and stored procedures
- Develop and integrate SOAP APIs with frontend and third-party systems
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of backend systems
- Perform database performance tuning including query and index optimization
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend systems, APIs, and databases
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data
- Use Shell and Python scripting for automation and backend support
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and technical meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features
- Work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a startup environment
- Manage multiple tasks with strong ownership and accountability
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, data structures, design patterns, and related technologies
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including schema design, database management, and query optimization
- Proven experience with SOAP-based APIs
- Solid understanding of Hibernate, JPA, and related Java frameworks
- Experience with Shell and Python scripting
- Prior exposure to EMS FCAPS functionalities for RAN products (advantage)
- Knowledge of YANG definitions and modeling rules
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
