About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage workflow priorities to ensure accurate, timely processing of policies, endorsements, binders, and certificates
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Process renewals alongside Sales Executives / Account Executives per agency protocols
- Verify policy accuracy and coordinate corrections with carriers as needed
- Review audits, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate client-carrier resolutions
- Enforce agency collections policy, invoice and pursue prompt payments
- Handle cancellation requests: determine root cause, retain accounts when possible, and notify leadership
- Assist clients with first reports of claims and follow up on claim status
- Support placement and marketing of renewal accounts
- Respond to carrier and client correspondence promptly
- Complete continuing education and training as requested by management
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License – required
- Experience: 3+ years of agency experience in Commercial Lines customer service or account management
Required Skills
- Communication: Articulate, confident, and enjoys client conversations
- Agency Systems: AMS360, proposal systems experience required
Preferred Skills
- Carrier Experience (plus): Accident Fund, Acuity, Auto-Owners, Chubb, Conifer, Hanover, Citizens, Hastings, Fremont, Frankenmuth, Michigan Millers, Pioneer, Progressive, Safeco, Travelers
Pay range and compensation package
- Base Salary: Competitive & commensurate with proven Commercial Lines experience
- Performance Bonuses: Paid on production, retention, and new business
