What you’ll do…
- Lead and manage a team of Walmart Connect Sales, serving as a strategic leader to drive the team’s delivery of trusted advisory services to clients (including C-level stakeholders) and exceed business goals.
- Oversee the development of team and individual account plans with actionable strategies to achieve and surpass sales quotas, grow assigned Book of Business, and contribute to organizational objectives; proactively escalate major opportunities or risks to senior leadership.
- Guide the team in delivering accurate quarterly sales forecasts and regular pacing updates; monitor team and account performance trends and drive timely adjustments to address gaps or key changes.
- Coach and empower the team to tailor data-driven sales presentations and proposals for mid-level and executive audiences, anticipating and addressing client questions and concerns to secure long-term partnerships.
- Leverage deep expertise in Walmart Connect’s full product suites, e-commerce ecosystem, and campaign optimization to train, upskill, and mentor the team, unlocking scalable upsell/cross-sell opportunities for large clients.
- Prioritize complex cross-functional initiatives, align internal resources (e.g., product, analytics, marketing), and optimize collaboration efficiency to identify new sales opportunities and deliver shared success.
- Develop, refine, and standardize sales processes and best practices for large customer management; proactively navigate ambiguities and market changes to keep the team and business moving forward.
- Lead strategic cross-functional workstreams alongside organizational leadership; foster a high-performance team culture through coaching, career development, and recognition of team achievements.
- Monitor individual and team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted improvement plans to ensure consistent quota attainment and professional growth of team members.
- Apply industry insights and sales data to advise senior leadership on strategic decisions, resource allocation, and high-impact projects that enhance team productivity and organizational growth.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Above
- 8–10 years of client-facing sales, account management, or optimization experience in digital advertising/e-commerce, with 3+ years of people management experience leading a sales team.
- Strong leadership and sales-oriented mindset, with deep expertise in B2B sales processes, go-global business models, and operational excellence in the advertising space.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; ability to influence executive/C-level clients and internal stakeholders using data and actionable insights.
- Proven track record of solving complex business problems, building resilient teams, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver measurable business results.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and data analytics tools; strong data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into team strategies and account actions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated C-level client partnering experience; background at e-commerce-focused advertising platforms or agencies.
- Track record of scaling Book of Business, leading teams to consistent quota overachievement, and thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Experience shaping organizational sales strategies, identifying high-impact initiatives, and driving process optimizations to enhance team efficiency at scale.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale cross-functional projects and deliver measurable operational or revenue improvements.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
