- Experience in developing and working with large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience as a software engineer with knowledge of three or more of the following areas: Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and services, distributed systems, tools, testing infrastructure, and monitoring infrastructure.

The focus includes working in collaboration with the Operations and Infrastructure Data Science (ODS) team on statistical modeling to provide capacity, integrating compute resource management tools, and creating new cluster management products that maximize efficiency. We collaborate with teams throughout Google to drive efficiency and usability, covering Machine Learning (ML) and non-machine learning use cases in a variety of environments.

Responsibilities
- Create system reliability and support for resource management with the Spatial Flexibility technical leadership team as part of the creation and execution of deliverables.
- Build technical solutions from the ground-up as part of the global Spatial Flexibility team.
- Develop, maintain, and simplify systems.
- Collaborate with team across the United States (e.g., West coast), India and Poland.
- Improve compute and ML resource efficiency to impact Google's bottom line and the net environmental impact.
