- Experience with core Generative AI (GenAI) concepts (e.g., Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models).
- Experience of developing Agentic AI systems using Vertex AI, Google ADK etc.
- Experience with text, image, video, or audio generation.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between global knowledge and specialized private data to build the next generation of intelligent solutions. You will integrate the power of Google Search directly into LLMs to provide seamless access to verified, real-time information, leverage Vertex Artificial Intelligence (AI) Search to ground models in unique datasets for highly tailored results, and collaborate on delivering transformative "wow" moments that redefine business operations and the user experience.The Google Cloud AI Research team addresses AI challenges motivated by Google Cloud’s mission of bringing AI to tech, healthcare, finance, retail and many other industries. We work on a range of unique problems focused on research topics that maximize scientific and real-world impact, aiming to push the state-of-the-art in AI and share findings with the broader research community. We also collaborate with product teams to bring innovations to real-world impact that benefits our customers.
Responsibilities
- Build the next generation of Grounding on Web Search and unblock critical customer needs to onboard on Vertex platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain critical systems that run our stack and in advancing its capabilities to scale to our customers needs.
- Build algorithms to improve grounding with respect to Large Language Models (LLMs), and for dynamically using grounding in LLMs.
- Build Search ranking improvement algorithms.
- Build and train specialized models to improve the quality of the grounding stack.
