Overview

TekWissen is a global workforce management provider headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan that offers strategic talent solutions to our clients world-wide. Our client is a global technology leader that is transforming the way people shop, consume content, and interact with digital services. With a strong presence across e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence, the company is known for its customer-centric approach, innovation-driven culture, and large-scale global impact. It continues to invest in building products and services that improve everyday life while supporting businesses, communities, and economies worldwide.

Job Description:

  • Maintain and enhance an existing Salesforce org used by internal Client teams.
  • Support ongoing platform stability, bug resolution, technical debt cleanup, and performance tuning.
  • Lead or contribute to Salesforce org migrations, including data migration, metadata refactoring, and integration updates.
  • Ensure smooth operation of business critical workflows during and after migration events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve production issues across Apex, Lightning components, integrations, and automation.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long term fixes to improve system reliability.
  • Support org consolidation, Hyperforce migrations, or instance to instance moves (common in Client's internal restructuring cycles).
  • Refactor legacy Apex, Visualforce, and workflow rules into modern patterns (Flows, LWC, modular Apex).
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure safe deployment practices across multiple sandboxes.
  • Collaborate with business users, program managers, and cross functional engineering teams to plan migration timelines and minimize downtime.
  • Create and maintain documentation for support processes, migration steps, and system architecture.

What makes this role interesting:

  • Clients often run large, multi-team Salesforce environments, so maintenance and migration work is high impact.
  • You may support global internal teams that rely on Salesforce for operations, compliance, or content workflows.
  • The client emphasizes operational excellence, so this role blends engineering with reliability and process improvement.
  • Migration work may involve AWS native integrations, internal APIs, and client-specific tooling.

Typical Candidate Profile:

Years of Experience:

  • 3–5+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong Apex, LWC, and integration skills.
  • Experience supporting production systems with SLAs.
  • Familiarity with data migration tools (Data Loader, APIs, ETL tools), metadata deployments, and org-to-org migration patterns.
  • Strong debugging skills and comfort working in complex, multi-team environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD (Git, SFDX, Copado, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Bonus: Experience with Hyperforce migration, Salesforce maintenance windows, or large-scale refactoring
