Why this role exists
Our existing customer base is a major growth opportunity. As customers grow with ezyCollect by Sidetrade, their needs expand across regions, teams, product usage and integrations. We’re building an Account Management function to own that growth more deliberately.
This role is focused on growing revenue within existing accounts. You’ll identify expansion opportunities, lead upsell and renewal conversations, and work closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Engineering to convert customer demand into commercial outcomes.
Your team
You’ll join our APAC SMB team, reporting to the CRO. You’ll work closely with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives and Marketing, with direct exposure to senior leadership and commercial strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Own revenue growth across a portfolio of existing customers
- Identify, qualify and close upsell, cross-sell, renewal and contract variation opportunities
- Lead commercial conversations from discovery through to pricing, negotiation and close
- Build strong relationships with finance and operations stakeholders
- Partner with Customer Success to turn usage, adoption and account signals into pipeline
- Work with Marketing on targeted campaigns to generate expansion opportunities
- Share customer feedback and commercial insight with Product and Engineering
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy and pipeline management in HubSpot
What you'll bring
You have 2+ years of experience in an Account Manager, expansion-focused Account Executive, or similar consultative sales role. You've worked with existing customers before, managing renewals, upsells, or expansions - and you have a proven track record of hitting consistent targets and quotas.
You come from a SaaS, fintech, payments, ERP, or accounting-related technology background. You understand the finance function, speak the language of CFOs and Controllers, and can connect product capabilities to business outcomes with confidence.
You're data-driven, curious, and commercially minded. You ask good questions, analyse opportunities strategically, and make decisions based on data and customer insights. You thrive in fast-paced, scaling environments where priorities shift and adaptability matters.
Bonus points for experience working with mid-market or enterprise finance teams, comfort running webinars or account-based campaigns, and strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
