Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with producers to support new business development and manage a growing book of commercial Property & Casualty accounts.
- Deliver excellent customer service standards, ensuring all client interactions are professional, timely, and solution-oriented.
- Lead ‘white-glove’ onboarding for new clients, including proactive communication, detailed implementation planning, and personalized handholding throughout the onboarding process.
- Manage day-to-day account activities such as renewals, policy administration, and client communications to maintain client satisfaction and retention.
- Evaluate client risks by analyzing loss experience, cash flow, and financial data to develop tailored insurance solutions.
- Prepare and present competitive proposals aligned with client needs and Marsh’s product offerings.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and risk consulting teams to ensure seamless service delivery and comprehensive risk management.
- Maintain accurate client and sales data in CRM systems, supporting reporting and business growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes within Ontario’s commercial insurance landscape to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts to support growth targets.
- 5+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance or risk management, preferably within the Ontario market.
- Active Ontario Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and manage complex client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements, loss data, and risk factors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining trusted relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications including proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience managing multi-line commercial insurance accounts and supporting complex client needs.
- Demonstrated success in sales support roles, contributing to business growth and client retention.
- Professional designations such as CIP, CRM, or equivalent advanced training in insurance or risk management.
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
