What will you contribute?
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Sales & Account Management Executive to join our Universal Banking team in London. This hybrid role blends new business acquisition with strategic account management, driving growth across both net new logos and existing customer relationships. You will capitalize on our strong presence in the UK market—particularly within Building Societies and Tier 3–5 banks—while ensuring long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a territory plan that balances net new name acquisition with account expansion.
- New Business Development
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and industry engagement.
- Account Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor for existing clients, driving adoption, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Consultative Selling
- Understand client needs and position Finastra’s solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams (Pre-Sales, Delivery, Customer Success) to ensure seamless execution and value delivery.
- Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems for both new and existing accounts.
- Market Intelligence
- Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and Finastra’s evolving product offerings.
- Minimum 7–10 years of successful enterprise software sales experience, ideally in FinTech, SaaS, or core banking solutions.
- Proven success in both net new name acquisition and account growth within UK Building Societies and Tier 3–5 banks.
- Strong cold calling and networking abilities combined with relationship-building expertise.
- Deep understanding of the UK financial services landscape.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder, complex sales cycles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
