IF YOU ARE
- A senior technology services leader with P&L accountability and ownership of revenue growth, margins, and investment decisions.
- A proven owner of a services business or practice, accountable for both commercial outcomes and delivery excellence
- A leader experienced in defining, pricing, packaging, and positioning service offerings
- A credible engineering professional with a background in application development, software engineering, or digital transformation
- A trusted executive partner to C‑level clients, capable of operating effectively in a global, matrixed environment
- A forward‑looking leader who understands how AI‑driven delivery models and agentic engineering are reshaping modern software development
- Educated with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Complemented by business or executive education (MBA, MsTM, or similar), which is considered a strong advantage
- Own full P&L responsibility for the Application Engineering Practice, including revenue targets, margin performance, pricing models, and investment decisions
- Lead the go‑to‑market strategy for Application Engineering services in partnership with sales, account, and marketing teams
- Grow pipeline, close strategic deals, and diversify services while moving up the value chain within existing client accounts
- Oversee proposal strategy, providing executive‑level input into major pursuits, deal structuring, and commercial risk decisions
- Track and report on pipeline health, bookings, and revenue forecasts, with full accountability for outcomes
- Define, evolve, and own the Application Engineering service portfolio, including custom development, application modernization, and cloud‑native engineering
- Translate technical capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions focused on client business outcomes
- Operate with a product and service mindset: validate market demand, test new offerings, evolve or retire services based on commercial performance
- Ensure services are packaged, priced, positioned competitively, and delivered effectively at scale
- Integrate AI‑driven and agentic engineering approaches into the portfolio to stay ahead of market shifts in software delivery
- Set and enforce the delivery framework, including quality standards, operational governance, and escalation protocols across all Practice engagements
- Maintain executive‑level client relationships, personally engaging on strategic accounts and resolving high‑impact escalations
- Improve delivery productivity, utilization, and profitability, eliminating unproductive activities and optimizing margins
- Balance growth ambition with delivery capacity, ensuring the Practice scales without compromising quality or client satisfaction
- Own the capability roadmap, including competency frameworks, certifications, knowledge base, and technical community development
- Drive capacity planning aligned with pipeline demand, partnering with talent acquisition and resource management on workforce strategy
- Lead R&D investment decisions, identifying emerging technologies, funding POCs, and translating research into marketable services
- Champion AI‑driven engineering practices, including AI‑assisted development, agentic engineering, and next‑generation SDLC models
- Build and sustain a high‑performing leadership team, from recruiting and performance management to succession planning
- Identify and develop the next generation of Practice leaders, creating clear growth paths and leadership pipelines
- Foster an engineering culture centered on ownership, continuous improvement, and commercial accountability
- Strengthen SoftServe’s global position in Application Engineering services
- Deliver scalable, profitable, and high‑quality engineering outcomes for enterprise clients
- Build future‑ready capabilities aligned with evolving market and technology demands
