As our new Key Account Manager, Public Sector, you will ensure the contract ownership, growth, and long-term success of strategic Public Sector accounts. Joining the Enterprise Account Management team, you will navigate the specificities of public procurement to drive local deployment and adoption. Your mission is to position Malt as a trusted partner while guaranteeing sustainable growth and alignment with our global enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities ✨
- Own the execution of account strategies, including governance, deployment, and renewal for Public Sector entities
- Drive new business acquisition by running structured prospection to detect new opportunities and securing high-stakes framework agreements
- Identify and engage key stakeholders such as HR, Procurement, and executive leaders within the public ecosystem
- Manage high-stakes negotiations and secure complex renewals or framework agreements
- Drive the expansion of Malt’s footprint by mapping new teams, departments, and use cases locally
- Ensure strict compliance with public sector constraints, including specific procurement processes and contractual rigor
- Articulate Malt’s value proposition and ROI to elevate conversations beyond price-driven discussions
- Maintain high discipline in CRM usage and MEDDIC data to provide reliable forecasting and portfolio visibility
- High-level education, ideally in Business Management, Political Science, or a related field
- Relevant experience (minimum 3+ years) in enterprise account management. Strong understanding of the public sector is a real asset
- Native level in French and Full professional English to manage both local stakeholders and internal global reporting
- Strong command of the MEDDIC sales methodology and CRM tools to track performance and mitigate risks
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex budget cycles and procurement rules
- First call with Agathe, our Talent Acquisition Lead, to better understand your background, aspirations, and answer any questions you may have. (30-45 minutes)
- Interview with your future manager, to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role. (45-60 minutes)
- Business case to assess your technical skills
- Final interview with Frédéric, Managing Director Enterprise AM to discuss Malt’s long-term vision
- Onboarding: Before easing into your new role, you’ll spend your first week learning about our culture, products, and services with other new joiners at our office in Paris
