Account Executive - Facility Services

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Account Executive to grow and manage facility services accounts across an assigned territory. The Account Executive will develop new business, retain and expand relationships with existing clients, and drive revenue for janitorial and facility maintenance services. This role requires deep knowledge of facility services, territory sales experience, and the ability to craft service solutions that meet client needs while achieving financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities for janitorial and facility services within an assigned territory
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts through regular client visits, needs assessments, and service reviews
  • Develop customized proposals and service plans, preparing accurate estimates and competitive pricing
  • Negotiate contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements to maximize retention and profitability
  • Collaborate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and consistent service quality
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and maintain accurate sales forecasts in the CRM
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in facility services, janitorial sales, or related categories
  • Proven track record of territory sales success, new business development, and account growth
  • Strong knowledge of facility services operations, scope of work development, and performance-based contracts
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills with C-level and facilities management stakeholders
  • Experience preparing proposals, pricing models, and service-level agreements
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ability to maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Facility Management, or related field preferred
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams
