Enterprise Account Executive | Chicago (Remote)


Our client is a fast-growing venture-backed cloud technology company redefining how organisations manage and unlock value from backup data. Their innovative platform gives enterprises instant visibility, searchability, and access across complex cloud environments, helping turn backups into strategic business assets.


Following strong growth and market momentum, they’re looking to appoint an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join their commercial team in the Chicago market.


The Opportunity

This is a high-impact new business role suited to a driven sales professional who enjoys building pipeline, opening strategic accounts, and closing complex enterprise deals. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to shape go-to-market success in a high-growth environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to generate new enterprise business opportunities

• Build pipeline from scratch through outbound activity, networking, and partner channels

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close

• Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers across target accounts

• Negotiate commercial agreements and close high-value opportunities

• Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs

• Collaborate internally to identify expansion opportunities and deliver an excellent customer experience

• Provide market intelligence and feedback to leadership on trends and customer needs


Ideal Background

• 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including 4+ years in enterprise software/SaaS sales

• Strong track record of net new logo acquisition and quota achievement

• Experience selling into enterprise organisations with complex buying cycles

• Background in backup, data protection, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or adjacent technologies highly desirable

• Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience closing six-figure+ deals

• Able to build credibility quickly with technical and executive stakeholders

• Self-starter mentality with success in fast-paced, scale-up environments
