As an Application Developer, you’ll deliver and support technology solutions that enable business capabilities—partnering across IT and the business to analyze requirements, design and build software, automate testing, and deploy reliable solutions that perform well in production.
As an Application Developer, you will…
- Build and deliver software solutions using established design patterns and coding standards—focused on secure, scalable, durable, and accessible outcomes.
- Contribute across the delivery lifecycle (requirements/backlog refinement, technical design, development, test automation, and deployment) in Agile and/or waterfall environments.
- Support production stability by participating in on-call support, troubleshooting incidents, contributing to root-cause analysis, tracking operational KPIs, and maintaining clear documentation for operations and users.
- 0–4 years of professional industry experience with software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency with relevant development languages, tools, frameworks, and dependencies, and strong fundamentals in data structures/algorithms
- Experience building or integrating with established APIs, including common system integration patterns
- Strong engineering habits: writing reusable, maintainable code, automated tests, and clear technical documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines
- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
