Sr. Engineer Software - APS

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help design and build robust, scalable solutions for our cloud-based platform. In this role, you will work on challenging technical problems, contribute to architectural discussions, and deliver high-quality code. What You Will Do

• Develop and enhance scalable, secure cloud applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to design technical solutions that meet business and product requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and help enforce best practices in design, coding, testing.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments.
• Stay informed on new technologies and Azure services to improve our platform and processes.
• Maintain technical documentation for features, components, and system integrations.
• Utilizes AI-enabled tools (e.g., chatbots, document automation, analytics assistants) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and streamline routine tasks while following company AI governance and data privacy standards.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience building cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Strong coding skills in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, leveraging frameworks such as ASP.NET and Angular.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, DevOps practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should hold the following qualifications, have the following experience, and be able to demonstrate the following competencies to be considered as a suitable applicant. Please note that except where specified as “preferred,” or as a “plus,” all points listed below are considered minimum requirements.

• Bachelors Degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred
• Typically has 5-7 years’ relevant technical experience
• Has a minimum of 1 or more years’ previous experience with similar product lines or subject areas as Tungsten Automation
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently on larger or more complex departmental assignments
• Skills in prompting AI systems and assessing output quality.
• Ability to leverage AI to ideate, develop, and scale to the needs of their department.
