Salary Expectations: $160,000 + bonus

Piper Maddox have been assigned to a leading US land and infrastructure investor in the renewable energy industry as they continue to scale their investment team. This role is crucial to supporting investment, underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. The platform manages $2 billion worth of investments globally.

The Senior Finance Associate will support investment underwriting, portfolio analysis, and strategic decision making across the platform. You will have the opportunity to play a vital role in a team driving energy investments forward nationally in a time when energy demand is at an all-time high.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, asset performance, and capital deployment decisions.
• Support the development of investment memoranda, internal reporting, and materials for senior management.
• Identify and help implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the finance function.
• Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to support transaction execution and ongoing asset management.
• Own and manage proprietary datasets, including aggregation, validation, and summarization of large data sets.

What you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in either investment banking (bulge bracket or top-tier platform), preferable with energy or renewables exposure OR finance, corporate development, or buy-side investment roles at a major renewable energy developer or investment firm.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear conclusions.
