As a Account Executive / Client Support Specialist, you will be the heartbeat of our customer relationships. This isn't just about answering inbound queries—it’s a dynamic, commercial role where you will take ownership of a client portfolio, manage renewals, and uncover opportunities to grow revenue.
The Role
You will bridge the gap between world-class customer support and savvy sales. Working closely with our seasoned Account Managers, you will act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring our customers always have the right technology solutions at the right time.
This role is purpose-built for progression. We will teach you the ropes of consultative selling, product knowledge, and pipeline management, setting you up for a future promotion into a full Account Management or Sales role.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Account Development
- Be the Go-To Contact: Manage a portfolio of customers, handling both inbound enquiries and proactive outbound check-ins.
- Build Relationships: Welcome new clients to Global 4, review their services, and align their needs with our tailored solutions.
- Deliver Excellence: Handle service discussions confidently while maintaining a sharp commercial mindset.
- Protect & Grow: Take ownership of contract renewals to safeguard existing revenue while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Spot Opportunities: Identify and progress natural opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our wider range of products and services.
- Drive the Pipeline: Accurately quote, close opportunities, and feed larger, complex leads to the senior Account Management team.
- Master the Process: Keep a structured, up-to-date pipeline of renewals and upgrades, ensuring all activities are accurately logged in the CRM.
- Level Up Your Knowledge: Learn the ins and outs of our multi-product portfolio, including connectivity, telephony, mobile, and IT services.
- Evolve Your Skills: Develop confidence in objection handling and consultative sales, positioning yourself for your next big career step.
- The Ambition: A genuine, burning desire to build a long-term career in sales or account management.
