We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive:

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for strategically driving revenue growth and providing support with direct responsibility for account management of key accounts and specialty retailers. They must drive for success, be goal/results driven, detail oriented, comfortable in a dynamic environment, enthusiastic and confident to develop and manage long-term business relationships.

Sales Ownership:

  • Strategically partner with accounts to drive revenue, retail sales and mitigate markdown liability
  • Fosters strong working relationship
  • Analyzes style and by door selling, sales to stock relationship and profitability reports on a weekly basis to strategically drive full price sales and drive in season re-orders
  • Ensure all internal key milestone dates are achieved and manage, track all external orders
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and fashion exhibitions to network and generate leads
  • Partners with wholesale planning to analyze OTB and creates action plans to minimize dilution
  • Manages the brands representation in all channels to ensure company visual standards are being upheld and meeting expectations
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Production, Finance and Account/Customer Service
  • Liquidate excess inventory; negotiating buys and ensuring internal margin targets are met with partners

Product Ownership:

  • Recaps market feedback; highlighting best sellers, product trends and opportunities
  • Reviews orders and provides suggestions based on style history, current market performance and regional needs
  • Captures final selling by delivery to pinpoint hits and misses which are then communicated to VP Sales and Merchandising to facilitate with the line plan process
  • Financial Ownership:
  • Forecasts monthly revenue strategizing on opportunities to achieve shippable targets
  • Delivers fabric projections that align with the annual fiscal revenue plan and sales plan by account
  • Manage dilution by account to ensure we are staying within plan
  • Partner with VP Sales to negotiate end of season markdown allowance
  • Miscellaneous:
  • Develop direct reports by providing constructive feedback and leading by example
  • Participate in regional shows
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed to support sales
  • Some travel may be required
  • All other duties as assigned



Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of previous account executive experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long term relationships.
  • Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning.
  • Ability to cross function and foster teamwork.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including a high level of proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with RLM is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: *Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
