Join our growing team in Kennametal as a Key Account Specialist to be based in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage established End user and Channel Sales Partner relationships.
- Expand sales in existing customers and distribution partners while actively looking for new customer generation.
- Maintains intense market knowledge of competitors and market gaps.
- Provide technical expertise on products (e.g., product lifecycle obsolescence), customer programs (e.g., product upgrades) and customer cost savings initiatives
- Achieve sales targets and other KPIs as defined by the management.
- Visit End users and distribution partners time to time.
- Generate leads through cold calling, Networking events and follow-ups to successfully close the business.
- Continuously improve current working knowledge of existing and new products and services.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
- 10 years’ experience of Industrial Sales. Experience of Metal cutting tools or CNC Machines is added advantage.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment.
- Good in English, spoken & written skills
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Learning agility, Ability to understand technical products, systems, and solutions.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, the ability to work with different functions.
- Possess own transport.
- Ability to assess customer needs competently.
