What You’ll Do
- Manage and service a middle market book of business (primarily 50-500+ lives)
- Act as the main day-to-day contact for clients, providing consultative support and proactive service
- Oversee renewals, marketing, quoting, plan comparisons, and carrier negotiations
- Support both self-funded, fully insured, and level-funded benefit programs
- Lead open enrollments, employee education meetings, and implementation activities
- Review contracts, proposals, and plan designs for accuracy and compliance
- Resolve eligibility, claims, billing, and service issues efficiently
- Partner with producers to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Stay current on compliance regulations and market trends
- Active Florida Life & Health License (required)
- 3+ years of employee benefits account management experience
- Experience working with self-funded, fully insured, and level-funded plans
- Strong renewal and marketing experience
- Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in-office full time and collaborating with a team
- Stable, growing brokerage with strong carrier relationships
- Collaborative, team-first culture
- Direct client impact and ownership of your book
