We’re partnering with a growing, client-focused employee benefits brokerage in Fort Lauderdale that is looking to add an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to their middle market team.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and service a middle market book of business (primarily 50-500+ lives)
  • Act as the main day-to-day contact for clients, providing consultative support and proactive service
  • Oversee renewals, marketing, quoting, plan comparisons, and carrier negotiations
  • Support both self-funded, fully insured, and level-funded benefit programs
  • Lead open enrollments, employee education meetings, and implementation activities
  • Review contracts, proposals, and plan designs for accuracy and compliance
  • Resolve eligibility, claims, billing, and service issues efficiently
  • Partner with producers to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Stay current on compliance regulations and market trends

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Florida Life & Health License (required)
  • 3+ years of employee benefits account management experience
  • Experience working with self-funded, fully insured, and level-funded plans
  • Strong renewal and marketing experience
  • Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in-office full time and collaborating with a team
