Rare Disease Account Executive SMA - CDMX

This position is based in Mexico City and it will cover different territories throughout the country, including but not limited to Mexico City.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute effective territory and account strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in SMA care delivery. Identify and understand the healthcare provider, center, and patient flow landscape for rare diseases.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to defend or grow market share.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address stakeholder needs and enhance patient access.
- Plan and execute educational programs and events to improve diagnosis and treatment timelines.
- Provide insights to management for identifying and profiling key accounts.
- Analyze business and patient access threats and opportunities within accounts.
- Set travel schedules and call plans to ensure adequate coverage of key accounts.
- Support regional initiatives and contribute to the identification of potential key customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of commercial experience in pharma/biotech industry.
- High degree of learning agility and ability to understand disease and product knowledge.
- Experience working in a commercial team within a multifunctional environment.
- Willingness to travel more than 50-60% of the time.
- Strong organizational ability and accountability. Knowledge of pricing policies and healthcare systems.
- Preference will be given to applicants with recent experience in Rare Disease Therapies or 4 years recent experience in High Specialty Therapies.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare policy and legal aspects.
- Deep knowledge of the Mexican healthcare system.
Este puesto está basado en la Ciudad de México y cubrirá distintos territorios a nivel nacional, incluyendo, entre otros, la Ciudad de México.
Lo Que Harás
- Desarrollar y ejecutar estrategias efectivas de territorio y cuentas para alcanzar los objetivos de ventas.
- Construir y mantener relaciones sólidas con tomadores de decisión clave en la atención del AME.
- Identificar y comprender el panorama de proveedores de atención médica, centros y flujo de pacientes en enfermedades raras.
- Monitorear las actividades de la competencia y desarrollar estrategias para defender o ampliar la participación de mercado.
- Colaborar de manera transversal para atender las necesidades de los grupos de interés y mejorar el acceso del paciente.
- Planear y ejecutar programas y eventos educativos para mejorar los tiempos de diagnóstico y tratamiento.
- Proporcionar información a la gerencia para la identificación y el perfilamiento de cuentas clave.
- Analizar riesgos y oportunidades del negocio y de acceso de pacientes dentro de las cuentas.
- Establecer agendas de viaje y planes de visita para asegurar la cobertura adecuada de cuentas clave.
- Apoyar iniciativas regionales y contribuir a la identificación de clientes clave potenciales.
Requisitos
- Licenciatura o Maestría en Ciencia, Administración de Empresas o un campo relacionado.
- Al menos 4 años de experiencia comercial en industria farmacéutica/biotecnología.
- Alto grado de agilidad de aprendizaje y capacidad para comprender el conocimiento de la enfermedad y del producto.
- Experiencia trabajando en un equipo comercial dentro de un entorno multifuncional.
- Disponibilidad para viajar más del 50–60% del tiempo.
- Fuerte capacidad de organización y sentido de responsabilidad.
- Conocimiento de políticas de precios y de sistemas de salud.
- Se dará preferencia a candidatos con experiencia reciente en Terapias para Enfermedades Raras o con 4 años de experiencia reciente en Terapias de Alta Especialidad.
- Conocimiento de las políticas de salud relevantes y de los aspectos legales aplicables.
- Conocimiento profundo del sistema de salud mexicano.
