Working closely with senior leaders across the UK, you’ll drive a strategic, disciplined approach to customer engagement and work winning. You’ll champion high‑value selling, guide customers towards sustainable procurement models and ensure that our propositions align with their long‑term business objectives.
The location for the role is UK flexible, with travel as required.
What you'll be doing
- Lead and deliver the account management strategy for the Buildings business, aligned to the wider UK work winning strategy
- Build, maintain and grow senior‑level relationships with key customers, influencing procurement routes and commercial behaviours
- Drive sustainable pipelines of work, ensuring focus on high‑quality opportunities that support long‑term growth
- Champion high‑value selling principles, coaching teams to strengthen relationships and improve conversion
- Oversee robust account planning, including regular reviews, customer insight and performance reporting
- Partner with work winning, delivery and operational teams to ensure a seamless transition from opportunity through to delivery
- Maintain strong executive‑level engagement with customers during operational delivery to protect and enhance customer experience
- Monitor market conditions and identify new customer opportunities aligned to business strategy
- Provide clear, accurate pipeline and performance reporting to support effective decision‑making
- Lead, develop and inspire a high‑performing account management team
- Strong commercial acumen with experience developing and delivering account or business development strategies
- Proven ability to build trusted, senior‑level customer relationships and influence outcomes
- Experienced people leader with a track record of developing high‑performing teams
- Strong communicator, able to engage and influence across a wide range of stakeholders
- Solid understanding of business development and work winning in complex environments
- Experience within the built environment or construction sector
- Results‑focused, resilient and collaborative leadership style
- Committed to inclusive leadership and making a positive impact across the business
