About The Job
We are looking for an ECommerce Key Account Manager to drive growth across key online customers by combining commercial excellence with GEO optimized digital execution. In this role, you will manage strategic accounts, deliver financial targets, and scale our online brand presence using data, automation, and generative era content capabilities.
In this role you will
- Build annual revenue and customer plans with the Digital & ECommerce and Performance Marketing teams.
- Drive profitable growth through data led negotiations, business planning, and customer management.
- Lead end to end customer relationships, ensuring operational excellence and high customer satisfaction.
- Develop customer specific activations and scalable digital shelf strategies optimized for generative engines.
- Adapt marketing plans into ecommerce initiatives, ensuring best in class visibility, content, and conversion.
- Optimize key KPIs (sell in/sellout, search share, availability, content scores, retail media ROI) and act quickly on insights.
- Identify whitespace, new listings, and digital acceleration opportunities.
- Partner closely with cross functional teams to solve operational issues and improve processes.
- Go to Market and Customer Strategy:
- Build and execute strategic account plans aligned with channel strategy, brand goals.
- Use algorithm insights, digital shelf analytics, category trends, and shopper data to construct compelling, fact-based selling stories.
- Partner with Digital Marketing and MarTech to deliver scalable, AI augmented content and automated optimization loops for retail platforms.
- Lead annual business negotiations and listings, leveraging customer specific data, and performance trends.
- Manage financial and operational KPIs, ensuring excellence across: Availability & supply KPIs, Sellin / sellout performance, Search share & algorithm ranking, Content quality scores, Retail media ROI.
- Identify and execute whitespace opportunities, including platform expansions, digital exclusives, and innovation pilots.
- Stakeholder management:
- Share insights across the organization on competitive activity, shopper behavior, digital shelf shifts, retail media trends, and generative engine dynamics.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure alignment on priorities, risks, and opportunities.
- Experience: 3+ years customer facing experience (e.g. Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, Category Management, Retail Buying) preferably in OTC/CHC or FMCG industry as well as 5+ years relevant experience in eRetail / E-Commerce.
- Skills: Quick learner, flexible and able to adapt to an ever-evolving working environment and competitive market dynamics, entrepreneurial spirit, hands on, with a bias to action, strong project management, negotiation and selling skills as well as the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Education: University degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Languages: Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in German as well as fluent in English.
