Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Jr. Account Manager role located in Sacramento, CA. The Jr. Account Manager will support customer relationships, oversee client event logistics, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure the seamless planning and execution of events. The role involves regular communication with clients, assisting with event planning timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and resolving any issues promptly. The Jr. Account Manager will also contribute to account growth and satisfaction by building strong client partnerships.
The Basics
Client Support and Event Coordination (60%)
- Assist Account Managers throughout the sales cycle
- Support clients in achieving their event goals within budget constraints
- Manage incoming account details and share key information with relevant departments
- Act as a secondary point of contact for clients
- Create event schedules and timelines
- Assist with on-site event tasks
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
- Contribute to event layout preparation and floor plan drafting
Graphics Support (20%)
- Coordinate with clients and graphic designers for branding needs
- Track graphic orders and manage proofing processes
- Review completed graphic products for quality and accuracy
Administrative Support (20%)
- Maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication
- Track client budgets and assist with invoicing
- Provide administrative support for travel logistics and scheduling
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 1-2 years of related experience
- Prior outside sales and/or event planning experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent people skills allowing them to work with various internal departments and clients
- Proactive and a strong multi-tasker
- Self-motivated and highly adaptable
- Able to work under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Mac Environment
