Mode is proud to be partnering with a growing accessories brand seeking a Key Account Manager to cover the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business, driving wholesale growth across backpacks and lifestyle accessories within a fast-paced market.


The company is expanding and offers strong potential for development, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within the UK retail landscape.


This is a field-based role covering the UK, reporting into the Global Head of Sales.

Fully remote but does require frequent travel across the UK


The Role

  • Manage and develop relationships with independent retailers and department stores across the UK.
  • Identify and open new accounts, driving wholesale growth within your territory.
  • Travel extensively to meet existing clients and prospect new business opportunities.
  • Present product collections, secure orders, and introduce new seasonal ranges.
  • Build strong, long-term partnerships with buyers and store owners.
  • Support in-store presence through basic merchandising and product visibility.
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to inform sales strategy.
  • Deliver against sales targets and distribution goals.
  • Provide regular reporting and updates on performance and territory activity.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in field sales or wholesale sales, ideally within accessories, fashion, lifestyle, or similar product categories.
  • Experience working with independent retailers and/or department stores.
  • Strong track record of developing new business and opening accounts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • Existing network within fashion, accessories, or gift retail.
  • Experience managing regional or national territories.
  • Understanding of retail cycles and seasonal product launches.
