About The Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will play an important role in expanding our partners’ market‑leading biosimilar portfolio in Madrid, whilst establishing our biopharmaceutical client as a trusted partner in the biosimilars market. Therapy areas targeted include nephrology and rheumatology, with a particular emphasis on 2 recently launched specialist ophthalmology products.
Working autonomously in your territory, you will build and strengthen partnerships with key hospital stakeholders, including hospital pharmacists, pharmacy managers, and relevant clinicians, to maximize market penetration and product uptake. Your experience in strategic account management, contract negotiations at hospital level, and sales growth will be essential in driving business performance.
Working closely with internal colleagues, you will ensure decisionmakers have access to the insights and information needed to support prescribing and adoption. You will also collect and analyze key market intelligence - such as competitor activity, treatment patterns, and prescribing criteria - to support strategic decision‑making.
