Performance Marketing Account Executive

This role is a hands-on paid media specialist with a strong focus on Paid Search and solid experience in Paid Social to join our internal media buying agency. The role will manage performance campaigns across multiple European markets (primarily Italy and Finland, with exposure to Ireland and Portugal). The position requires a results-driven individual capable of managing significant budgets (2–3M€ annually) and driving lead generation and conversions. Based in Madrid, this role operates in a hybrid model (3 days office / 2 days remote) and may involve occasional travel to Málaga or Oslo.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, implementing, and optimizing Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns across multiple markets
- Managing approximately €2–3M annual advertising budget with full ownership of performance
- Driving lead generation and conversion performance through data-driven optimization
- Conducting keyword research, audience segmentation, and campaign structuring
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting on campaign performance, providing actionable insights
- Collaborating within the internal agency structure supporting 5 markets
- Ensuring continuous testing (creatives, audiences, bidding strategies) to improve ROI
- Supporting expansion into additional channels such as Microsoft Ads when relevant
- 3+ years of experience in Paid Search and Paid Social (flexible for exceptional talent)
- Strong hands-on experience in campaign implementation and optimisation
- Proven experience managing high advertising budgets (ideally €2M+)
- Strong performance marketing mindset (focus on leads & conversions)
- High level of English and Spanish (essential for multi-market collaboration)
- Valid work permit within the EU
- Experience working across multiple markets
- Knowledge of Italian or Finnish
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field
