Location: Belgium. The most preferred location is Diegem/Brussels area, but relevant candidates, located elsewhere in Belgium will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. It is a hybrid role, with expected occasional visits to our office in Diegem. Intensive travel is also a part of the role.
Role’s Overview
We are seeking a results-driven (Sr) Account Manager to lead and grow key accounts for Kidde’s Residential Fire portfolio across Western Europe. This role is focused on delivering commercial results through effective account management, ownership of sales performance within assigned customers and territories and the execution of commercial strategy. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, influence distributors and internal stakeholders, identify new growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts and expand Kidde’s market presence across core and emerging markets in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Execution & Growth:
- Deliver sales and revenue targets across your allocated territory.
- Identify emerging opportunities, customer needs and competitive trends to support commercial decision-making.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting to provide visibility on performance and outlook.
- Monitor competitive activity and market insights to inform pricing, product positioning and channel strategy.
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers and key channel partners to drive demand and availability.
- Support brand awareness and product activation for the Residential Fire safety portfolio in the region.
- Manage commercial engagement with customers, including proposals, negotiations, onboarding and ongoing support.
- Coordinate execution of channel strategies and segment initiatives to optimize coverage and sales performance.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Supply Chain and Finance to ensure alignment on priorities.
- Provide market feedback to inform product development, pricing and promotional plans.
- Act as the regional point of contact for field intelligence, customer feedback and competitor activity.
- Min. 5 years of experience in Retail and/or B2B sales in technical products portfolio; safety/fire safety portfolio experience will be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
- Formal qualifications in business, marketing, or technical discipline advantageous. Proven track record of delivering sales results.
- Fluent in English. Additional European language(s) – French/Dutch/German/Spanish/Portuguese/Italian will be seen as advantage.
- Demonstrated influencing and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
