Role Description

This is a contract role for a Sr. BMC Remedy Developer based in Englewood, Colorado, with a hybrid working arrangement that includes both on-site and remote work flexibility. The developer will be responsible for configuring and managing the BMC Remedy platform, troubleshooting technical issues, integrating systems with BMC Remedy, and improving IT service and problem management processes. This role requires strong hands-on Remedy development expertise and the ability to work in a complex, custom enterprise environment. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system support and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and enhance custom BMC Remedy applications (Remedy 9.1+)

· Create APIs and web services to integrate outage and issue data from multiple systems

· Consolidate tracking/reporting into a unified monitoring platform

· Build intelligent logic to identify outage patterns and trigger proactive alerts

· Improve response coordination and reduce redundant issue handling

· Support real-time customer communication and operational visibility

· Work closely with infrastructure, monitoring, and operations teams

Required Skills & Experience:

· Strong BMC Remedy Development experience (9.1+)

· Experience working in custom Remedy environments

· Strong SQL, CMDB, and database knowledge

· API and Web Services integration experience

· Strong Linux environment expertise

· Experience with system administration, configuration control, and metrics reporting

· ITSM experience highly preferred
