Everest Environmental Group is a fast-growing national waste, recycling, and environmental services brokerage supporting commercial and industrial customers across North America.
We are looking for a highly organized, self-motivated Account Manager to join our remote team.
This role is focused on maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting ongoing account needs, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, and acting as the key connection between customers, vendors, dispatch, and internal teams.
Because this is a fully remote position, the ideal candidate must be disciplined, accountable, and comfortable managing their workload independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage & Grow Existing Client Accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of customers across industries such as manufacturing, retail, quick-service restaurants (QSR), property management, construction, and municipalities.
- Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding each client’s operational needs, goals, and challenges.
- Support account retention and customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Account Support & Coordination
- Manage day-to-day account activity including service requests, issue resolution, and ongoing customer support.
- Coordinate internally with dispatch, operations, vendors, and customer service teams to ensure customer requests and service expectations are addressed effectively.
- Act as a trusted advisor by identifying opportunities to improve service efficiency, sustainability, and cost control.
- Ensure accuracy of service setup, billing, and invoicing.
Account Growth & Optimization
- Conduct regular client check-ins, service reviews, and occasional on-site evaluations.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities including recycling programs, jobsite services, and wastewater solutions.
- Support contract renewals, pricing updates, and scope expansions in partnership with leadership.
Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate client records, service details, and activity notes in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Track account activity, retention metrics, and growth opportunities.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding account status, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or B2B client services.
- Experience in waste management, environmental services, logistics, brokerage, or related industries is considered a strong asset.
Skills
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and coordinate effectively across multiple teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Experience identifying account growth and retention opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and virtual meeting platforms.
- Working knowledge of waste, recycling, and environmental regulations is an asset.
