Role: Java Developer

Location: Auckland

Duration: 6 Months Contract + Extension


Job Description

Strong expertise in modern Java (Java 17 and above), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in Java Streams and functional programming concepts, with hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs using an OpenAPI-first approach.


Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot

Build and evolve microservices-based architectures with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, and performance

Develop RESTful APIs following best practices and OpenAPI specifications
